Deep surface is a video and photography installation that explores the observation of the individual in the process of maturation. By projecting our views onto other people and the environment, we often overlook the fact that the shadow aspects of our personality offer valuable opportunities to actively engage with inner conflicts. Through this awareness, we can gain insights that support the lifelong process of individuation, as described by C. G. Jung.
The istallation was first presented as part of the art festival 48H Neukölln in Berlin.
